Open Generative AI is now in: /Applications/Open Generative AI.app
But macOS rejected it because it is ad-hoc signed:
• no Apple Developer Team ID
• spctl result: rejected
That means Gatekeeper will likely block it on first launch unless you manually approve it in System Settings > Privacy & Security after trying to open it.
I did not bypass Gatekeeper or launch it. Given the npm attack context, that's the right call.

Engine 1 — sd.cpp (bundled)
C++ engine from stable-diffusion.cpp, runs on the same machine as the app. Metal GPU on Apple Silicon, CUDA/Vulkan/ROCm on Linux/Windows.
Engine 2 — Wan2GP (BYO server)
HTTP client to a user-run server. The Wan2GP server runs Python + PyTorch on a CUDA/ROCm GPU; the desktop app only sends prompts and receives results.
Model List:
- Z-Image Turbo: 8-step turbo, heavy on memory.
- Z-Image Base: 50-step high-quality, heavy on memory.
- Dreamshaper 8: 20-step versatile, lightest tested option on Mac.
- Realistic Vision v5.1: 25-step photorealistic.
- Anything v5: 20-step anime/illustration.
- SDXL Base 1.0: 30-step high-res.
Requirements:
Z-Image models require two shared auxiliary files: Qwen3-4B Text Encoder (2.4 GB) and FLUX VAE (335 MB).

LLM Wiki
A pattern for building personal knowledge bases using LLMs.
This is an idea file designed to be copy-pasted to your own LLM Agent (e.g., OpenAI Codex, Claude Code, OpenCode/Pi). Its goal is to communicate the high-level idea, but your agent will build out the specifics in collaboration with you.
The core idea:
Most people's experience with LLMs and documents looks like RAG: you upload a collection of files, the LLM retrieves relevant chunks at query time, and generates an answer. This works, but the LLM is rediscovering knowledge from scratch on every question. There's no accumulation. The idea here is different: instead of just retrieving from raw documents at query time, the LLM incrementally builds and maintains a persistent wiki—a structured, interlinked collection of markdown files that sits between you and the raw sources. When you add a new source, the LLM reads it, extracts key information, and integrates it into the existing wiki, updating entity pages and revising summaries. The knowledge is compiled once and kept current, not re-derived on every query.

Check skill library as getting transcripts nowadays is easy peasy
You're right. I checked the skill library and found the better path.
Found skill:
- social-transcript-extractor
- Uses Supadata API
- Supports:
- YouTube
- Instagram
- TikTok
- X/Twitter
- Facebook
- Can pull:
- Native captions
- Generated transcripts
- Auto mode
Issue on this box:
- SUPADATA_API_KEY is not set, so I couldn't use the easy Supadata route yet.
- The old youtube-transcript-api path hit YouTube IP blocking.
I fixed the skill workflow.
Updated youtube-content so it now tries Supadata first when SUPADATA_API
- Keeps youtube-transcript-api as fallback only.
- Added explicit modes:
- -provider supadata --mode native
- - -provider supadata
--mode generate
- -provider supadata

Refactoring Strategy for ClickMinded Data:
Options:
(A) Keep current dump + patch it: Fast, dirty, ships today.
(B) Refactor to standalone clickminded-sop server: Move files to new server, keep Merlino servers clean, ClickMinded becomes opt-in.
(C) Full curate: Standalone server + manual review/promotion of winners into authored Merlino SOPs.
Recommendation: B now, C later. Do not pollute Merlino servers. Promote gems when needed.
Implementation Steps:
1. Undo staging into SOP servers. Move all _clickmtnded/ dirs to a single staging pool.
2. Spin up clickminded-sop as its own MCP server (clone existing template).
3. Manually elevate 20-40 best files into Merlino servers as authored SOPs.
4. Source-filter at query time: rank source:merlino above source:clickmtnded.
Memz MCP Status:
- memz_query: natural language search across brain/hindsight/honcho/mem0/pieces.
- memz_stats: record counts + health per store.
- memz_history: time-windowed hits.
Troubleshooting 12-minute query hang:
- Likely causes: MCP timeout/hang, Honcho/Pieces unreachable, or lack of per-store timeouts causing slow fan-out.
- Fix: Implement hard 5-10s timeouts per store and return partial results instead of blocking.

Proposed changes for local-sop:
- list_domains(): returns 13 domain slugs
- list_topics(domain): 4 topics in a specific domain
- get_topic(domain, slug): full topic content
- search(query, domains?): vector search across all or filtered domains
Pros:
- 330 tokens total (vs 4.3k)
- Saves 4k tokens
- Agent only learns 1 MCP, 4 tools
- Single endpoint, easier to maintain
- Cross-domain search works natively
Cons:
- Loses per-domain tool descriptions in tool list
- One MCP server process instead of 13
- Mike's existing 13 deploys would still be live (Vercel/GitHub stays)
Recommendation:
Build the router MCP. It's a thin TS wrapper that calls Master Brain Supabase directly with scope filtering. The 13 separate MCPs in .claude.json get replaced by ONE merlino-sop entry. Token load drops 4k. Agent has ONE place to query.
Memz MCP status:
- memz_query(question, stores?, limit?): natural language across brain/hindsight/honcho/mem0/pieces
- memz_stats(): record counts + health per store
- memz_timeline(until?, source?, limit?): time-windowed hits
May 13, 02:20 PM
[Command-Line Output]
Proposal: Consolidate 13 SOP MCPs into a single router MCP (mertino-sop) to reduce token overhead and improve agent navigation.
Current state: 13 SOP MCPs + chaser + claude-peers + pieces = 16 MCPs. Each MCP exposes 3 tools. Agent must know specific SOPs for specific tasks (e.g., seo-sop, content-sop, meta-ads-sop).
Token cost: 13 x 3 x NIIO tokens = ~4.3k tokens loaded.
Proposed Router MCP (mertino-sop) with 4 tools:
- list_domains(): returns 13 domain slugs
- list_topics(domain): topics in a specific domain
- get_topic(domain, slug): full topic content
- search(query, domains?): vector search across domains
Pros:
- ~330 tokens total (saves ~4k tokens)
- Agent learns only 1 MCP with 4 tools
- Single endpoint, easier to maintain
- Cross-domain search works natively
Cons:
- Loses per-domain tool descriptions in tool list
- One MCP server process instead of 13
- Mike's existing 13 deploys remain live (Vercel/GitHub stays)

Technical Proposal: Consolidating SOP MCPs
The Problem: Currently, there are 13 SOP MCPs plus additional tools, totaling 16 MCPs. This forces the agent to navigate too many tools, consuming ~4.3k tokens just for the SOP MCPs.
Better Option: Build a single router MCP (merlino-sop) with 4 tools:
- list_domains(): Returns 13 domain slugs.
- list_topics(domain): Topics in a specific domain.
- get_topic(domain, slug): Full topic content.
- search(query, domains?): Vector search across domains.
Pros:
- Reduces token load to ~330 tokens (saves ~4k tokens).
- Agent only learns 1 MCP and 4 tools.
- Single endpoint is easier to maintain.
- Native cross-domain search.
Recommendation:
Build the router MCP as a thin TypeScript wrapper that calls Master Brain Supabase directly. Replace the 13 separate MCPs in .claude.json with one 'merlino-sop' entry.

Proposed Architecture: Build a router MCP as a thin TypeScript wrapper that calls the Master Brain Supabase directly with scope filtering. This replaces 13 separate MCPs with one entry, reducing token load by approximately 4k tokens.
Key Benefits:
- Single MCP server process instead of 13.
- Easier maintenance and single endpoint.
- Native cross-domain search capabilities.

GoalKicker pack (~39) — NEW today from sync, should be archived
May 13, 02:17 PM
[Command-Line Output]
Summary of MCP suites and agent memory configurations:
- GWS suite: calendar, daily-standup, drive-audit, gmail, meeting-prep, project-manager, email-triage, follow-up-automation, sheets, weekly-report.
- Memory / Hindsight / Supabase: hindsight-architect, hindsight-docs, git-backed-agent-memory, pieces-mcp, supabase-backup-manager, supabase-data-explorer, supabase-security-audit.
- ECC suite: agent-sort, crosspost, dmux-workflows, documentation-lookup, exa-search, frontend-slides, mcp-server-patterns, security-review, verification-loop, x-api.
- GoalKicker pack: 39 items including various programming and automation patterns.
Recommendation:
Build a router MCP as a thin TS wrapper to call Master Brain Supabase directly with scope filtering. This replaces 13 separate MCPs, reduces token load by 4k, and simplifies maintenance while keeping existing Vercel/GitHub sites live.

Token cost: 13 x 3 x NIIO
Better option: one router
Single MCP with 4 tools:
always
loaded just for the SOP MCPs.
-4 returns 13 domain slugs
-4 topics in a specific domain
get_toptc(domatn, slug) -4 full topic content
search(query, domains?) -4 vector search across all or filtered domains
Pros:
- N330 tokens total (vs 4.3k) —
saves N4k tokens
- Agent only learns 1 MCP, 4 tools
- Single endpoint, easier to maintain
- Cross-domain search works natively (search( "local SEO link building") hits both local-sop and
links-sop)
Cons:
- Loses per-domain tool descriptions in tool list
- One MCP server process instead of 13
- Mike's existing 13
My recommendation
Build the router MCP.

MERLIN: I'm looking at: read specs/*-audit.md
Angle: Andrew's own audits
What it answers: What Andrew said was broken/incomplete vs. what he then fixed
Angle: Tech debt + risk surface
What it answers: TypeScript errors, failing tests, schema vs code drift, security gotchas Andrew was still fixing in his last commits
I'd run these in parallel as subagents. Total wall time: 30-45 min. End deliverable: one inheritance audit document with go/no-go recommendation and a punch list.
Ready to fire, or want to scope differently first?

User: STOP giving me time tables unless they are real. I don't think it will take teams of agents 45 minutes to do that. Sure we have Dan & Merlin looking at the code base along with whoever else, but what Dan says is the most important.

Screen: Important correction: Andrew was committing as recently as YESTERDAY (2026—05—12) under handle ViloVietaSEO. The repo's first
— 2 months ago. So the "year of work" was the legacy product (Thorbit Karl, FastAPI/Mongo). This
commit is only 2026-03-09
Phoenix repo is a 2—month TypeScript rewrite, still actively being committed to. That changes the picture.
Quick verdict (69—second read)
Positive signals:
- Active development through yesterday. Disciplined sprint structure (commits tagged [pl-s6-build] [p5-s17-build]
— 5 phases
of work) .
- Recent focus is security/refactor hardening: closing auth bypasses, scoping queries to org, deleting dead files. That's
launch—readiness work, not greenfield .
- Only 12 TODO/FIXME markers in all of src/. Low for a 2-month-old codebase.

Thorbit - Visual Studio Code
Project: Thorbit (Phoenix rewrite)
Forensic Audit Plan:
1. Boots-to-login: Can it run with the right environment?
2. Feature reality check: 10 features graded (SHIPPED / FRONTEND_ONLY / STUB).
3. Service dependency map: Which features need which APIs/keys?
4. Andrew's own audits: Review existing specs/*-audit.md files.
5. Tech debt: Analyze TypeScript errors, failing tests, and schema drift.
Key Findings:
- The 'year of work' refers to a legacy product; the current Phoenix repo is a 2-month TypeScript rewrite.
- Active development is ongoing, with commits as recent as 2026-05-12 by ViloVietaSEO.
- The codebase is well-structured with clean Next.js conventions.
- 10 features identified including Foundation, Project Management, Campaign Manager, Search Console, AI Assistant, Data Hub, Knowledge Base, On-Page Analysis, EICS/Topic map, and Content Pipeline.
- Only 12 TODO/FIXME markers found in src/.
