AWS Marketplace: Pinecone Vector Database - PAYG
Pinecone Vector Database
Sold by: Pinecone
Pinecone is a serverless vector database built to power production AI on AWS. It delivers fast, accurate retrieval with hybrid search, reranking, filtering, and real-time indexing - no infrastructure or tuning required.
Highlights:
- Accurate, production-ready retrieval: Low-latency search (20-100ms) on billion-vector datasets with hybrid search (semantic + keyword), integrated reranking, and real-time indexing.
- Ship faster with predictable cost and scale: Fully managed serverless architecture with decoupled storage and compute.
- Enterprise-ready: SOC 2 Type II and HIPAA certified with security enforced at the data layer.
Usage Costs:
Pinecone Vector Database uses a single dimension called 'Pinecone Billing Unit' which aggregates costs across read units (RUs), write units (WUs), and storage for serverless indexes.

Now obviously if you're in the group, you can just literally come and grab this from the classroom if you like so you can rock and roll. But what I've included in this is an onboarding wizard and this will really explain to you how you set this thing up.
So we look at Claude OS and...

So if I vectorize information, if I—which is just a fancy way of saying store new stuff, I actually get a breakdown here of what's happening with everything that I'm doing, which is great. It's just good to get nice little bits of overview on that. So you're probably thinking, "Jack, that looks really freaking cool. How do I actually..."

my Pinecone memory system. Basically, it's like a visual overview of how every memory that I'm using—local, Pinecone, and Supabase—is connected in one really nice, crisp view and how they're all related to each other. And what we also added in here as well, by the way, is like recent activity.

I can actually disable certain features. So if I just want to look at Obsidian, for example, I can see the stuff that I've got in here that I'm like playing around with. I can bring up my local memory system and then obviously just bring in Pinecone to get a full overview of what this looks like. And if I want to take a different view to understand what's happening, I can see. There you go.

Claude Code Agentic OS... It self improves
Jack Roberts demonstrates a visual operating system for Claude that tracks AI activity, monitors costs, and suggests improvements. The system includes features for cost management, skill optimization (e.g., switching to Haiku for file reads), and memory management.

min in, no completion notification yet. Per the harness rules I can't peek at his transcript without overflowing context, and I shouldn't poll. You'll get pinged the moment he lands.
What's in flight:
Track A (inventory):
D:\ClaudeDev\00_GITHUB, vault-audit, plus E:
- Merlin: process_catalog Supabase schema + registers catalog in unified memory
- Memz:
Track B (Petey):
drive (E:\Merlino Vault\, E:\Codex\projects\, 441 GB DL DUMP), ingestion pipeline with text-embedding-3-large layer plus SSH to Mac and VPS3
- Dan: agent spec + design decision + writes .claude/agents/petey.md and the skill file
- Merlin: any tooling Petey needs (catalog write helper, parser shims)
- Smoke test feedstock: / local-seo-site-builder (per addendum at D:\ClaudeDev\PETEY-ADDENDUM.md)
- Persistent memory layer required: own MEMORY.md + SubagentStop hook + Hindsight + Memo + Master Brain
When Carlos returns I verify before delivering:
- Real Supabase row count (queried, not estimated)
- Top 30 executable-process artifacts with step counts
- Petey files exist + smoke test transcript shows local-seo-site-builder input structured output
- Petey memory dir initialized
- Everything committed to merlino-skills canonical
No fabricated numbers. No "looks done."
If anything's missing on delivery, I dispatch a follow-up before you see it.
Want me to ping you the moment he lands, or just wait until I have the full delivery report?

Mark that as done. Awesome. Moving to the next one. You're paying Opus prices for jobs that Haiku can do. Interesting. And why are you suggesting this? A bit of information and then specifically how to action it. It'll show stuff like you did the same competitor research four times this week. Interesting. So I'm duplicating...

Now what's really freaking cool and my favorite thing about this that I built on this is the dreaming feature. So you have access to so much data on your computer, right? Like your usage, um, conversations you're having...

So I'll put a link down below if you want to go and grab the V1, but you'll also understand how to actually build and what kind of goes in the information for this.
So effectively what we want to do is capture how much money you're actually spending on AI on a monthly basis. And what we can do is on...

Git status and commit history for codex/supermemory-openai branch.
TASK: Clean up dirty branch, save Codex's mid-crash work, fix the folder so Codex stops crashing
DONE:
- Committed Codex's uncommitted Supabase I/O reduction work (15 files)
- Renamed 2 side branches to archive/ prefix
- Pushed all 3 branches to origin
- Found and fixed root cause of Codex crash (broken .qmd-tool submodule gitlink)
- 4 new memory files written
- .continue-here.md rewritten with full resume context
- Context bundle saved
- All em dashes stripped from saved files
WHERE YOU ARE RIGHT NOW:
- codex/supermemory-openai is 4 real commits ahead of master, pushed to origin
- PR-ready: https://github.com/mmerlin023/master-brain/pull/new/codex/supermemory-openai
- Working tree clean, branch up to date with origin
WHAT YOU'RE TRYING TO GET DONE (3 open decisions):
1. Open the PR from codex/supermemory-openai to master, or keep iterating on the branch?
2. Apply migration supabase/migrations/20260516_reduce_io_storage_growth.sql to live Supabase project
3. Confirm what the second Codex terminal was doing before any concurrent git work resumes here
ARCHITECTURAL PLANNING:
Where should the central broker live?
1. hq.merlinoai.com on existing VPS (Recommended)
2. New tiny VPS dedicated to fleet ops
3. Mac Studio (Hermes machine)
TEAM:
Dan (architecture) + Knox (Tailscale ACL + auth) + Merlin (broker rewrite + multi-runtime adapters) + Frankie (dashboard).

Speaker 1: What we're doing here with these pillars is we want to stop overpaying. So how are you being more efficient? What's really cool here is it will understand what models you're using for what tasks and say, "Hey," and give you dynamic recommendations to say, like, "You should move to this model, you should move to that model." Um, you're going to know what's always left. You're going to be able to find...

So, the idea...

Um, all that beautiful information when we understand how much their time is worth. So it's really, really cool to pull that.

Speaker 1: So realistically we need to get a good view of how you're using the models, what models you're using, where's your data, what's your intelligence, and based on your unique situation, we can find specific recommendations to help you take it to the next level. And what's really cool about this whole system, by the way, is when you onboard...
