Now I have real data from both. Here's the actual answer to "what's in there and how much of my memory":
## HINDSIGHT (self-hosted, no rate limit) — everything's here
- **189 banks, 126 project banks, 35,219 facts** extracted and queryable right now
- **Live and growing** — oliver, einstein, chat all updated **today (2026-06-07)**
- Your full corpus + all agent memories (oliver 3,499 · merlin 3,659 · ava 2,635 · carlos 2,479 · reference 991 · feedback 527)
- 19 "empty" banks, but those are mis-named `project-*` duplicate stubs (wrong naming scheme); the real `proj-*` banks are full
## ZEP (cloud free tier) — can't even read it
- **123 of 131 read calls got 429'd.** The free tier throttles *reads*, not just writes. I literally cannot audit it via API.
- Your dashboard is the only truth: **~335 processed / 931 submitted, 55.61% error**
- 931 submitted vs only **288 source files** = the old non-idempotent script re-pushed duplicates on every retry. Half failed to rate limit. So what's in Zep is a **partial, duplicated, half-broken fragment**.
## The verdict (straight)
**Hindsight already holds all your memory — 35K facts, live, free, instant.** Zep free tier is not viable: the rate limit chokes both ingest and audit, and what landed is duplicated garbage I can't even count.
You don't have a memory problem. You have a **too-many-tools** problem. Recommendation:
1. **Drop Zep.** It adds nothing Hindsight doesn't already have, and the free tier can't hold your volume. (Paid Flex = $125/mo just to stop the rate limits — not worth it when Hindsight is free.)
2. If you want a **temporal "what changed when" graph**, you already have **Graphiti self-hosted on Hetzner** (free, no rate limit) in the stack. Use that, not Zep.
3. **Drop Supermemory** too — redundant with Hindsight + Master Brain.
Net stack: **Master Brain** (source of truth) + **Hindsight** (fact recall, has everything) + **Graphiti** (temporal) + **MEMORY.md/agent-memory.py** (working notes). Four layers, zero overlap, zero monthly cost.
Want me to confirm Graphiti's current state on Hetzner so you can see it's a real replacement before you kill Zep?

Those are just the earlier PowerShell attempts reporting back late. Already solved it via the `.cmd` file and the lnk strings, so they're irrelevant now.
Nothing pending. Answer stands: the **Memory Stack (Claude)** desktop shortcut runs `Start-Memory-Claude.cmd` in **cmd.exe** (auto-launches `claude "/resume"` in `D:\Ecosystem\Memory\memory-stack-build`), while your normal terminal is **git-bash** with your profile drawing the snake. Same Claude, different console.

That notification is just the first (failed) lookup attempt finishing late. Already got the real answer from the `.cmd` file, so nothing to do there.
You're all set. The shortcut is plain **cmd.exe** auto-running `claude "/resume"` in the memory folder; your normal terminal is **git-bash** with your profile's snake. Same Claude, different console wrapper.
Say the word if you want me to point the shortcut at git-bash so they match.

so zeop is 1000 episodes free (what are those) I see we have 335 and 931 graphs created with a 55.61 drrro rate in last 7 days my question is what is in there and not? how much of my memories?
[ASSISTANT]
While that runs, here's what your dashboard numbers most likely mean:
- **"1000 episodes/credits free"** — your monthly free allowance. Each memory file you pushed burned ~8 of those. So ~120 files and you're tapped out for the window. That's exactly why the ingest kept dying on rate limits.
- **335 and 931** — almost certainly **335 episodes processed / 931 total submitted** (or processed-vs-created). Zep ingests an episode, then builds the knowledge graph from it **asynchronously**. An episode sits `processed=False` until the graph extraction runs.
- **55.61% error rate (7d)** — that's the rate-limit carnage from the bulk runs. When you blow past 300 req/window, Zep 429s the request and the episode never lands. So roughly half of what we tried to push **bounced**.
The audit I'm running counts the ground truth: total graphs, total episodes, how many actually **processed** vs stuck, and which graphs are still **empty**. That tells you precisely how much of your memory made it in vs got dropped. Standing by for it to finish.

how do I restart
[ASSISTANT]
Your work is fully saved, so restarting is safe. To pick up where we left off:
1. **Close this session:** press `Ctrl+C` twice (or just close the terminal).
2. **Reopen a terminal in the project:**
```
cd D:\ClaudeDev\archangel-centers-master
```
3. **Start Claude Code:**
```
claude
```
4. **Resume:** type `/resume` — it reads `.planning/.continue-here.md` and picks up exactly here (header done, next = content-audit dataset + image de-darken pass).
Two shortcuts if you'd rather not use `/resume`:
- `claude --continue` (or `claude -c`) reopens the **most recent** conversation in this folder with full history.
- `claude --resume` lets you **pick** from a list of past sessions.
From any **other machine**, open this and it has everything: https://raw.githubusercontent.com/mmerlino23/merlino-memory/main/SESSION-CONTINUE.md
Nothing is running in the background, so you can close anytime.

[ASSISTANT]
All set. Here's what you have now.
## Local working copy (fresh, latest, private)
```
D:\ClaudeDev\00_GITHUB\arch-tinton-vercel
```
- Fresh clone of `https://github.com/mmerlino23/arch-tinton-vercel` (the repo that deploys https://arch-tinton-vercel.vercel.app)
- **Single clean `origin`** → no more 3-remote tangle. Latest commit `30e2ae1`.
- Repo is **PRIVATE** (only you).
- `npm install` done. `git status` clean. Ready to `npm run dev`.
Why a fresh clone instead of your old folder: `D:\Ecosystem\projects\archangel-tinton-clone` was stale (last local commit 2026-05-30 WIP) and had diverged from all 3 remotes. The current code lived on the remote. I left that old folder untouched.
## Desktop shortcut (works exactly like Memory Stack)
```
C:\Users\mikem\Desktop\Archangel (Claude).lnk
```
Double-click → cds into the project → launches `claude "/resume"`. Same pattern as your `Memory Stack (Claude).lnk`, driven by a local launcher `Start-Archangel-Claude.cmd` inside the folder (git-excluded so it never gets committed).
## Notes
- The launcher and shortcut point at the live-deploy repo, so commits + pushes here can go live on Vercel.
- PowerShell wedged on the home box mid-task (the known cold-start issue), so I created the shortcut via cscript/VBScript instead. Result verified.
Two quick things worth doing when you have a sec:
1. That exposed GitHub PAT baked into the old `_deployA` remote URL (`ghp_e5yYIA...`) is still sitting in plain text on disk. Worth rotating.
2. Once you confirm this new folder is your working copy, you can retire the stale `archangel-tinton-clone` folder (I won't delete it without your go-ahead).

dorp ti and restartt it if needed but lets tal about memory please. 2 things. 1) I want to upload memory bank to hindsight but you tell me the price u think its going to cost then I Do it and we see so I can get grip on how much it will cost to upload allt he memrories I Want to upload.. (2) I want to see what Zep will cost also doing the same.. side note Supermemory is not needed anymore or does not compaire or is different? I do want to minimize a mount of tools that do the SAME thing vs having stack that covers all form of memory, etc,
[ASSISTANT]
Got real numbers. One correction to what I said earlier: Hindsight is **not** local — it's wired to OpenAI `gpt-4o-mini` for fact extraction (key from `fleet.env`). That changes the math but the answer is still great for you.
## The cost models (verified, not guessed)
**Hindsight** = OpenAI `gpt-4o-mini` ($0.15/1M input, $0.60/1M output) + embeddings ($0.02/1M). Self-hosted on your Hetzner box, so the only marginal cost is the OpenAI extraction calls. Pennies.
**Zep Cloud** = credit model. **1 credit = 350 bytes ingested**, rounded up per episode. You pay to ingest, not to store.
| Plan | Price | Credits/mo | Overage |
|---|---|---|---|
| Free | $0 | 1,000 | none (just rate-limited, 300/window) |
| Flex | $125/mo | 50,000 | $0.0025/credit |
| Flex Plus | $375/mo | 200,000 | $0.001875/credit |
## Your current corpus (the 292 memory files)
**828,487 bytes / ~103K words / ~207K tokens.**
| Tool | My predicted cost to upload ALL 292 files |
|---|---|
| **Hindsight** | **~$0.11–0.25 one-time** (≈350K input tok, ≈100K output tok on gpt-4o-mini). Already done, actually. |
| **Zep Free** | $0, BUT corpus needs **~2,500 credits** and free tier caps at 1,000/mo → takes 3 monthly windows + the rate-limit grind you already hit |
| **Zep Flex** | **$125/mo flat** — corpus only eats ~2,500 of 50,000 credits (5%) |
**The headline:** at the 350-byte-per-credit rate, Zep gets expensive fast at scale. Hindsight is roughly **100x cheaper per MB** because gpt-4o-mini extraction is dirt cheap. Example, if "all the memories" means something like Master Brain's source (~hundreds of MB): Hindsight ≈ $30–50, Zep ≈ **$4,000+**. Not close.
## The calibration test you asked for
Hindsight is already fully loaded and Zep is ~90% loaded, so the cleanest "predict then verify":
- **Hindsight:** I predict the full 292-file load cost **~$0.11–0.25**. Verify against your OpenAI usage dashboard for 2026-06-06.
- **Zep:** I predict the full corpus = **~2,500 credits**. Verify in the Zep dashboard credit meter (https://app.getzep.com).
Or, if you want a fresh clean run: give me 10 files, I predict **~$0.004 (Hindsight)** and **~85 credits (Zep)**, you run it, we check the meters. Tiny numbers though — the full-corpus check is more meaningful.
## Supermemory — yes, it's redundant
Supermemory is a hosted SaaS doing **session-recall for Claude Code** (the `super-save`/`super-search` plugin). It overlaps directly with your Hindsight + Master Brain layers. It does nothing your stack doesn't already cover — its only edge is frictionless auto-capture inside Claude Code.
Right now you have **Hindsight + Zep + Graphiti + Master Brain + MEMORY.md/agent-memory.py + Honcho + Pieces + Supermemory** all injecting context. That's the actual problem. My recommendation for "cover all forms, minimize duplicates":
- **Keep:** Master Brain (source of truth), Hindsight (cheap fact recall), MEMORY.md/agent-memory.py (working notes), **one** temporal layer.
- **Pick ONE temporal:** Graphiti (self-hosted, free) **or** Zep (managed, $125/mo). Not both — they do the same job. Given the cost gap, Graphiti unless you specifically want Zep's managed dashboard.
- **Drop:** Supermemory, and the already-dropped Mem0/Honcho/Pieces-as-memory.
Two questions before I do anything:
1. **Scope of "all the memories"** — just these 292 files, or a bigger pile (chat backups, Master Brain source, etc.)? That swings the Zep number from $0 to thousands.
2. Want me to run the **full-corpus verify** now (read your OpenAI usage + Zep credit meter and compare to my predictions)?

into a client deliverable (e.g. the CG Law content gap + competitor entity report)
[ASSISTANT]
Done. Real client deliverable, live and verified.
**DELIVERED:** CG Law PLLC — Content Gap & Competitor Entity Report (built entirely from live MCP Scraper data)
**LIVE URL:** https://cglaw-seo-report.vercel.app
**POWD:** full-page screenshot at `D:\ClaudeDev\06_cli-tools\mcpscraper\report\powd.png` (captured from the live URL via Firecrawl, white theme confirmed rendered)
**VERIFICATION:** FULL — HTTP 200 public, screenshot confirms data populated
## What's in it (all from real data, captured 2026-06-07)
**1. Content gaps —** 30 People Also Ask questions across CG Law's 3 money keywords (divorce / child custody / family law attorney Dallas), each with Google's current answer. **17 are GAPs** CG Law doesn't address on-site. Each is a ready blog post or FAQ block.
**2. Competitor entity table —** the 4 firms owning the Dallas map pack, with ratings, review counts, and their **Google Knowledge Graph entity IDs**:
- Modern Family Law (4.8★, 504 reviews, KG `/g/11ksyrq77h`)
- McClure Law Group (4.9★)
- OWLawyers® (4.9★)
- CG Law appears in **none** of the packs, and has **no KG entity**.
**3. Entity/trust audit —** CG Law's homepage schema: NAP score weak (no address/phone/email in schema), no Knowledge Graph, no Wikipedia/Wikidata, 0 FAQ schema blocks, no aggregate rating.
**4. Thin pages —** 9 practice-area money pages stuck at ~300 words while the blogs run 800–1000.
**5. Recommendations —** close the 17 gaps, rebuild the 9 thin pages, fix entity/NAP/FAQ schema, run review velocity to crack the pack.
This proves the full pipeline: MCP Scraper → live SERP + PAA + entity + on-page data → polished client-facing report. The generator (`build-cglaw-report.py`) is reusable for any client; swap the domain and keywords.
Want me to:
- **Repoint to a custom subdomain** (e.g. `cglaw-report.merlinoai.com`) and post to Discord #deploys per your deploy rule, or
- **Push the whole tool + report generator to a private GitHub repo** and `/sync` to Hetzner + Mac?

Resuming the Memory Stack build. Specifically right now:
- Background job `bhkpewq8x` is running `zep_complete.py proj` to fill the **13 Zep Cloud project graphs** that got left empty by rate-limiting on the last run.
- It's idempotent: re-checks all 129 graphs, skips the 116 already populated, only fills the 13 empties.
- Waiting on it to finish (slow because Zep free tier = 300 req/window, so it backs off 45s on each rate-limit hit).
That's the only open execution item. After it lands I'll verify counts and report. The rest of the stack (Hindsight banks + MCP bridge) is already done and verified.

# /resume — Pick Up Where We Left Off
When invoked, restore full project context from a previous `/pause` and continue work.
## Process
### 1. Find Handoff File
Check these locations in order:
1. `.planning/.continue-here.md` (current directory)
2. `.continue-here.md` (project root)
3. `HANDOFF.json` (legacy format)
If none found, say so and ask Mike what we're working on.
### 2. Load Context
Read the handoff file completely. Also read:
- `CLAUDE.md` (project instructions)
- `.planning/STATE.md` (if exists)
- Project memory files (MEMORY.md in the project memory directory)
### 3. Check Current State
```bash
# What's changed since pause?
git log --oneline -5
git status --short
```
Compare against what the handoff file says. Flag any divergence (someone else may have worked on this).
### 4. Check Running Processes
If the handoff mentions dev servers or tunnels, verify they're still running:
```bash
# Check if ports are still active
curl -s -o /dev/null -w "%{http_code}" http://localhost:{port} 2>/dev/null || echo "not running"
```
### 5. Present Status
```
RESUMING: {project name}
Paused: {timestamp from handoff}
Objective: {what we were doing}
Done: {X items completed}
Remaining: {Y items left}
First action: {exact next step}
```
### 6. Start Working
Don't ask "should I continue?" — just pick up the first action from the "Resume With" section and do it. Mike said resume, so resume.
## Rules
- Read the FULL handoff file before doing anything
- Don't re-do completed work — trust the handoff
- If the handoff mentions blockers that needed Mike's input, ask about those first
- If processes died (dev servers, tunnels), restart them before continuing work
- Delete the handoff file after successfully resuming (it's a one-shot artifact)
- If agents were mid-task when paused, re-dispatch them
[ASSISTANT]
Resume is live. Here's where we are:
**RESUMING: Merlino Memory Stack** (Hindsight + Zep banks)
- **Paused:** 2026-06-06
- **Objective:** dated/tagged memory banks per project across the 4-layer stack
- **Done:** Hindsight fully built + verified (126 proj banks + reference + feedback = ~3,300 facts, hardened). MCP bridge done. Decision banked.
- **Zep state:** 116/129 project graphs populated. reference + feedback graphs done. **13 project graphs still empty** (rate-limited on the last background run).
- **First action (running now):** idempotent `zep_complete.py proj` to fill the remaining 13.
The fill is running in the background (`bhkpewq8x`). It re-checks all 129 graphs and only fills empties, so the skip-scan alone takes ~80s, plus 45s backoffs per rate-limit hit on the 13 fills. I'll report counts when it finishes.
The 13 remaining:
- proj-cgh-lawfirm-mdai, proj-skill-audit-cleanup, proj-skill-cleanup-2026-05-13, proj-skill-dedup-2026-05-16, proj-skool-archive, proj-sop-factory, proj-sop-vaults-batch-10, proj-supermemory-sop-site, proj-thorbit-codex-adw, proj-tmux-docs-3-6b-update, proj-two-repos-to-private-github-2026-06-06, proj-white-label-ai-orgchart, proj-xmcp-install
Letting it run. Will confirm when done.

All unknowns cleared and pushed. Final answers to your questions:
1. **Marco** = a single 2024 call (`call-with-marco`, Oct 30 2024). Not a real relationship — it just surfaced from the call-title scan. Dropped it.
2. **pmnow.biz** → **Michael Tesolona** (added, with `Tesalona` as an alias since the transcripts spell it both ways)
3. **contentsprout.ai + getaistrategy.com** → **Andrew Ansley** (tagged as his old tools, noted on his person page)
The people/org graph is now fully resolved — **24 people, 21 orgs, zero unknowns left.** Everything's accurate to what you told me and pushed to https://github.com/mmerlino23/merlino-obsidian-vaults.
That closes out the whole vault project: 6 organized Obsidian vaults at `D:/Vaults/`, full tag system (topic + people + clients/partners/peers), your real business graph captured, editable via `_maps/*.yaml`, synced to GitHub for Obsidian on any device.
Good place to land. What's next?

Here's your full module library mapped to engine tabs, with my recommended build order. **Rank these / tell me to adjust** — meanwhile I'll start the live-engine foundation (which is the same regardless of order).
## Your modules → engine tabs (recommended order)
**Tier 1 — the real differentiators (your IP, replaces generic dumps):**
1. **seo-technical** → Technical SEO tab (fills the empty one; 15-category, Cloudflare-proof via Firecrawl + Google PageSpeed)
2. **seo-citations** → AI/LLM Visibility (actually tests if CGH is cited by ChatGPT/Perplexity/Gemini/AI Overviews — real, powerful)
3. **seo-page** → On-Page (title/meta/headings/schema/CWV + AI citability per page)
4. **seo-schema** → Schema tab (validates + generates, rich-result + AI comprehension)
5. **seo-authority** → Authority/Backlinks (composite Authority & Brand score)
**Tier 2 — AI search depth:**
6. **seo-fan-out** (query fan-out coverage) · 7. **seo-platforms** (per-AI-platform) · 8. **geo** (GEO overview) · 9. **seo-competitors** (vs/alternatives intel)
**Tier 3 — CRO + answer engine:**
10. **cro-analyzer** (MECLABS + Hormozi scoring) · 11. **aeo-deploy** (one-command AEO orchestrator)
**Tier 4 — outputs/orchestration:** seo-audit (master orchestrator), seo-report, seo-proposal, seo-compare (month-over-month deltas), seo-reply, seo-refresh, seo-content, seo-images, seo-international, seo-sitemap, seo-programmatic, humanizer
## What I'm building now (the foundation — order-independent)
- **Live module architecture**: each tab = a module (your method + which APIs power it + a runner). A Vercel API route runs `{client, module}` on demand, caches the result, returns it.
- **Per-section "Re-run" button** wired to those routes.
- **Module registry** so dropping in your next SKILL.md method = a new tab.
Starting with **seo-technical** as module #1 (kills the empty Technical tab, Cloudflare-proof) unless you reorder.
Quick gut-check before I pour hours in: should each module's synthesis run on **OpenAI** (works now) or do you want me to wire **Claude via OpenRouter/Anthropic** once a working key is in `MASTER_API_KEYS.env`? (OpenRouter is 402'd, Anthropic 401'd right now — OpenAI is the only live LLM key.)

All verified in a real browser now (not Firecrawl guessing). Here's the truth and the fix.
## What was actually wrong (I had it wrong before)
I'd been verifying with Firecrawl, which **can't hover and renders a scaled thumbnail**, so I never saw what you saw. I drove a real browser this time and found the real bugs:
1. **Logo wasn't "small" — it was crushed to a 19px-wide black sliver.** The global `img { max-width:100% }` plus the flex nav squeezed it to a thin black box. It looked absent. → **Fixed:** now renders at 71×52 as the actual gold wings logo, visible top-left on the homepage.
2. **The mega menu *did* exist but you couldn't see it** because a stray rule from the mobile pass (`.nav-burger { display:flex }` with no media query) put a **hamburger on the desktop nav** and squished everything — the nav looked like a broken mobile menu, so nothing invited a hover. → **Fixed:** hamburger is desktop-hidden again; the mega menu opens cleanly.
## Proof (real browser, hovered open)
The mega menu now opens as a dark two-column panel: **SUBSTANCES** (Alcohol, Opioids, Fentanyl, Heroin, Cocaine, Benzos, Meth, Prescription) | **CO-OCCURRING / DUAL DIAGNOSIS** (Dual Diagnosis, Depression, Anxiety, PTSD, Bipolar, ADHD), gold headings, divider — the Ascend pattern. Screenshot: `proof-fix/mega-forced.png`.
Verified live on https://archangel-centers-master.vercel.app/ :
- Logo visible: 71×52 gold wings, desktop **and** mobile
- Desktop hamburger: gone (`display:none`)
- Mega menu: opens with all links
- Mobile burger: shows at 390px, menu opens
- Guide heroes: clean (gold-logo-wall / console shots, no more angel-mural/red-wall)
## Honest accounting
The "92/100 done" was wrong because I QA'd with the wrong tool and never saw the broken nav. That's the lesson: real browser for nav/interaction, not Firecrawl. Fixed now and confirmed by actually hovering it.
Two quick calls for you:
1. **Logo size** — 71×52 is visible but modest (like Ascend's). Want it bigger, or good?
2. Want me to apply the same mega-panel styling to the **Resources** menu and the location-silo menus too, and then do the MEDIUM/LOW polish (Our Team gap, admissions contrast)?

Clients: North Valley Solar (Kurt; Dan Kurtz runs their FB ads via Local Leads Launch), Brand North (minus George) george owns Brand North
[ASSISTANT]
That's the system working end to end. Your calls are now sliceable by who was on them:
- **371** your own (`#mine/merlino-marketing`)
- **95** Denish / infintech · **89** Greg Ortiz / Digital Rooftop · **18** Rabih / Rizk · **12** Dan Kurtz · **10** Brian Kato / fusionvine · **5** MoneyGun · **5** Gordon / BrightFox...
In Obsidian you can now click `#org/digital-rooftop` and see all 89 Greg calls, or `#client/north-valley-solar-power` for the NVSP ones. All pushed.
**The whole thing is done:**
- 6 category vaults (skills 526, agents 29, projects 131, **people 23**, **businesses 16**, meetings 2,246) — at `D:/Vaults/`, on GitHub
- Full tag system: topic + **people + orgs/clients/peers** (Dori spelled right, George owns Brand North, Greg = Digital Rooftop)
- `_maps/people.yaml` + `orgs.yaml` = your editable source of truth — change anything, say "rebuild," it propagates
**Tiny leftovers** you can fill in the maps whenever (low priority): **Marco** (which one), and 3 small peer domains still `UNKNOWN` (pmnow.biz, contentsprout.ai, getaistrategy.com).
This is a real second brain now — open `D:/Vaults/businesses/wolf-pack-llc.md` and click through the graph. Good place to stop unless you want me to keep going.

MAPS ! thats the main thing I wasn this tool for the fucking maps
[ASSISTANT]
The maps geo-grid is working in the tool. The heatmap rendered with the full 5x5 ranking grid for **"personal injury lawyer denver"** centered on CGH's office:
- **66% visibility score**
- **6.7 avg rank** across the grid
- Color-coded pins: green (top 3) near their office, fading to yellow/red at the edges — exactly the geo-grid heatmap
**Open it: http://localhost:3005/dashboard/geo-grid?grid_history_id=8db080fa**
To run a fresh one anytime: **http://localhost:3005/dashboard/geo-grid** — enter keyword, drop the center pin, set grid size (3x3 up to 11x11), pick your target domain, hit Search.
This is the maps tool you wanted, running live against your DataForSEO account. Want me to run a bigger grid (e.g. 9x9 across all of Denver) or scan the other money keywords (car accident lawyer, truck accident lawyer)?

Done — your whole business graph is captured now:
**23 people · 15 orgs/companies**, all cross-linked in Obsidian. The groups came through:
- **Vibe Coders** (you + Rabih Riz + Andrew Ansley)
- **MoneyGun** (you + Kato + Gordon + Roman)
- **Wolf Pack** → Stealth Code (Elias/Kristopher/Konstantinos) → SEO NEO, Omega, CoLinkri, Alpha Omega

- Friends/peers: Dino Gomez, Gordon (BrightFox), Denish, Rich Fong, DGS mastermind
Dropped **status tags** (your call) and skipped the Fireflies API — **local Zoom backups only**, like you said.
**Two gaps left** (I parked them as `UNKNOWN` in `D:/Vaults/_maps/`):
1. **Marco** — you asked "which one?" — so you tell me when you know.
2. **digitalrooftop.com** — this one's in **107 of your calls** (second only to infintech), so it's clearly someone important I don't have. Who is it?
Everything's pushed to https://github.com/mmerlino23/merlino-obsidian-vaults. The maps at `D:/Vaults/_maps/people.yaml` + `orgs.yaml` are yours to edit — change a name or add a person, tell me "rebuild," and it propagates everywhere.
Want me to fill those last two, or is this good to leave here?

Nothing removed. Everything stays as-is.
**Why 4 versions:** you said "set it up all ways possible," so I covered every way you'd actually call this API, depending on the situation:
- **Node CLI** (`cli.mjs`) → fast one-off command in a terminal: `mcpscraper harvest --query "..."`. Type a command, get JSON back.
- **Python CLI/lib** (`mcpscraper.py`) → for your Python pipelines (call-sentiment, research scripts). Same commands, or `import` it.
- **TypeScript lib** (`mcpscraper.ts`) → for your Next.js / ShadCN apps. Typed, so the editor autocompletes the fields.
- **Raw curl** (`curl-recipes.sh`) → copy-paste reference, no Node or Python needed at all.
Same API, just whichever door fits the task you're in. If that's overkill and you only ever use one, say which and I'll keep that one. Otherwise it's all there and all tested working.

# Steel
> Cloud browser infrastructure for AI agents. Steel gives your agent a real browser that can navigate pages, fill forms, solve CAPTCHAs, and extract content.
If Steel is not installed yet, execute the setup steps below autonomously. Only ask the user to do one thing: click the authentication link.
OBJECTIVE: Install the Steel CLI, authenticate, and verify everything works.
DONE WHEN: `steel scrape https://example.com` returns page content successfully.
## Setup
### Step 1: Install Steel CLI
Check if `steel` is already available:
```bash
steel --version
```
If the command is not found, install it:
```bash
curl -sSf https://setup.steel.dev/install.sh | sh
export PATH="$HOME/.steel/bin:$PATH"
```
### Step 2: Authenticate
If `STEEL_API_KEY` is already set in the environment, skip this step.
Otherwise, run:
```bash
steel login
```
This will print a URL. **Ask the user to click the link to complete authentication.** Wait for the command to finish — it will print "Authentication successful" when the user has approved.
### Step 3: Verify
```bash
steel scrape https://example.com
```
This should return Markdown content. If it does, setup is complete.
---
## Choose the right tool
| Task | Tool |
|------|------|
| Extract text/HTML from a page | `steel scrape <url>` |
| Take a screenshot | `steel screenshot <url>` |
| Generate a PDF | `steel pdf <url>` |
| Multi-step interaction, login, forms, JS-heavy pages | `steel browser` session |
| Anti-bot / CAPTCHA sites | `steel browser --stealth` session |
**Start with `steel scrape` when you only need page content.** Escalate to `steel browser` when the page requires interaction or JavaScript rendering.
## API tools (one-shot, no session needed)
```bash
# Scrape — returns Markdown by default (use --json flag for structured output)
steel scrape https://example.com
steel scrape https://example.com --format html
steel scrape https://example.com --use-proxy
# Screenshot
steel screenshot https://example.com
steel screenshot https://example.com --full-page
# PDF
steel pdf https://example.com
```
## Interactive browser session
### Core workflow
1. **Start** a named session
2. **Navigate** to the target URL
3. **Snapshot** to get page state and element refs
4. **Interact** using `@eN` refs from the snapshot
5. **Re-snapshot** after every navigation or DOM change (refs expire)
6. **Stop** the session when done
```bash
steel browser start --session my-task --session-timeout 3600000
steel browser navigate https://example.com --session my-task
steel browser snapshot -i --session my-task
steel browser fill @e3 "search term" --session my-task
steel browser click @e7 --session my-task
steel browser wait --load networkidle --session my-task
steel browser snapshot -i --session my-task
steel browser stop --session my-task
```
**Rules:**
- Always use the same `--session <name>` on every command.
- Never use an `@eN` ref without a fresh snapshot — refs expire after navigation or DOM changes.
- Prefer element refs from `snapshot -i` over CSS selectors. Use `-c` for large DOMs, `-d 3` to limit depth.
- Use `batch` to combine multiple commands into a single invocation for efficiency.
### Batch execution
Run multiple commands in one CLI call. Each quoted string is one command.
```bash
# Navigate and snapshot in one call
steel browser batch "navigate https://example.com" "snapshot -i" --session my-task
# Action + re-snapshot (no separate snapshot call needed)
steel browser batch "click @e3" "snapshot -i" --session my-task
# Multiple actions without intermediate snapshots
steel browser batch "fill @e1 Seoul" "fill @e2 Tokyo" "click @e5" --session my-task
# Stop on first error with --bail
steel browser batch "click @e3" "snapshot -i" --session my-task --bail
```
Use `batch` when:
- You need to snapshot after an action (most common case)
- You are filling multiple form fields in sequence
- You want to

**Two things this tells me, and where I need your brain:**
1. **"Dori" isn't in any title** — she's a *speaker inside* the Fireflies calls (which only label "Speaker 1/2"). So clean people-tags on those calls need either your name list or a Fireflies-API attendee pull. The title-based names above are the only ones I can get cleanly without that.
2. **Those orgs look like your DGS Mastermind / peer-agency network** (Bliss Drive, Andrew Ansley, etc), **not clients.** I genuinely can't tell which are *clients* vs *mastermind peers* vs *partners* — that's your knowledge.
**My proposed approach (you own the truth, I apply it):**
I create two editable map files in the vault:
```
meetings/_people.yaml dori: [dory, dorie] bradley: [...] ...
meetings/_orgs.yaml infintechdesigns.com: {name: Denish, type: peer}
archangel: {type: client} ...
```
You fix spellings + classify once (client/peer/partner), the tagger reads it and stamps `#person/dori`, `#client/archangel`, `#peer/blissdrive` everywhere. Fix Dori once → correct forever.
**So, to move:**
- Want me to **draft those two map files pre-filled** with everything I harvested (you just correct + classify)? That's the least typing for you.
- And should I do a **Fireflies-API pull** to get the real attendee names on the Speaker-1/2 calls (so Dori et al actually get tagged), or skip that and tag only what's in titles/participant-lines for now?
Tell me "draft the maps" + yes/no on the Fireflies pull, and I'll go.

yes lets discuuss alltags why its Dori, not Dory

Here's your **real tag map** (live counts from the vaults):
**Meetings — by source:**
- `#meeting/fireflies` → **1,068** calls
- `#meeting/vault` → 459 · `#meeting/drive` → 289
**Skills — by topic:**
- `#skill/ai-agents` → 259 · `#skill/dev` → 181 · `#skill/design` → 158 · `#skill/content` → 114 · `#skill/seo` → 109 · `#skill/automation` → 92 · `#skill/research` → 75 · `#skill/ads` → 46 · `#skill/voice-telephony` → 36 · `#skill/video` → 30 · `#skill/image` → 28 · `#skill/local-seo` → 24 · `#skill/social` → 21
**Projects — by topic:**
- `#project/dev` → 114 · `#project/ai-agents` → 106 · `#project/design` → 90 · `#project/memory-knowledge` → 55 · `#project/automation` → 48 · `#project/ads` → 27 · `#project/content` → 25
So in Obsidian you can instantly pull, say, "every SEO thing I own" by clicking `#skill/seo` + `#project/seo`, or "all my Fireflies calls" with `#meeting/fireflies`.
**Want me to tune the tags?** I can:
- Add more dimensions (e.g. tag meetings by **person** — Dory, Martina, etc — or projects by **status** active/shipped/dead)
- Add **client tags** on the right projects/meetings (`#client/archangel`, `#client/nvsp`)
- Make a master **MAP-OF-CONTENT** note that links all 6 vaults together with one graph
Just say which and I'll add it. Otherwise the tagging's done and live in `D:/Vaults/`.

## Done — your stuff is now in 6 neat Obsidian vaults
**Local:** `D:/Vaults/` — open any folder in Obsidian right now (Open folder as vault)
**GitHub (private):** https://github.com/mmerlino23/merlino-obsidian-vaults
| Vault | Notes | Each note has |
|---|---|---|
| **skills** | 526 | name, what it does, trigger, `/invoke`, tags |
| **agents** | 29 | role, soul link, tags |
| **projects** | 131 | summary, status, links, notes, tags |
| **businesses** | 7 | Merlino AI/Marketing/MDAI + clients |
| **meetings** | 1,815 | date, source, transcript link, tags |
| **resources** | 32 | doc/SOP libraries w/ counts |
**Every note has the full Obsidian treatment:** frontmatter properties (type/status/tags/date/source), inline tags (`#skill/seo`, `#meeting/fireflies`, `#agent/content`), `> [!callout]` blocks, wikilinks, and a **Dataview dashboard** per vault (`_DASHBOARD.md`). Graph view + tag pane work out of the box.
### To use it (2 things)
1. **Right now, here:** Obsidian → *Open folder as vault* → `D:/Vaults/skills` (or any of the 6). Install the **Dataview** community plugin so the dashboard tables go live.
2. **On your Mac/laptop:** install the **Obsidian Git** plugin → clone `https://github.com/mmerlino23/merlino-obsidian-vaults` → open any subfolder as a vault. Edits sync across machines automatically.
Open `D:/Vaults/skills` in Obsidian and poke around — tell me if the format/tags are what you want, and I'll tune anything (more tags, different categories, deeper notes). If it's good, this is your portable second brain, done.
