Decide if you keep both Zep $125 + Supermemory $100 long-term (the overlap), or consolidate. do they overlap I thought you said zep was tmeporal memeory?
Mem0 is free and working, so no rush either way. if free keep it but make sure its up to date and saving or storing bullshit

Hindsight captured. ✅
## Hindsight backup complete
- **Status:** HTTP 200 (was down during the main run, recovered)
- **Captured:** 1,179 memories across all banks, 0 errors
- **Run time:** 280s
- **Vault:** `D:/Ecosystem/vaults/hindsight-snapshots/`
The only snag was a lock collision with the scheduled hourly `MerlinoUnifiedBackup` task (it was mid-run with `--push-github`); I waited for it to finish, then ran hindsight-only cleanly.
**Net result:** all 10 memory stores are now backed up this cycle. Every source is green.

Max plan · $100/mo · renews Jun 14
[ASSISTANT]
**What plan you're on: Supermemory Pro, $19/mo** — and it's been dead (HTTP 402) since 2026-05-14. You're paying $19/mo for a tool that has written nothing in ~3.5 weeks. That's the real answer, and I was wrong to call it free.
Now the bigger thing, straight: **you feel like none of it works because you have 8 memory tools and most are half-wired.** Your own note (`project_memory-ecosystem-8-stores.md`) says you fanned out to 8 stores, only 6 worked, Supermemory 402'd, and it's been fragmented since. The problem isn't any one tool. It's that there's no single working path.
**The fix is subtraction, not addition.** You need exactly this:
| Keep | Why | Cost |
|---|---|---|
| **Zep Cloud** | Your online visual + temporal graph. The dashboard you like. | $125/mo |
| **Hindsight** (self-host) | The working recall backend, 35K facts, actually populated | $0 |
| **Master Brain** | Knowledge source of truth | existing |
| **Honcho** | Free profile backend, already feeding prompts | $0 |
**Kill these:**
- **Supermemory Pro** — cancel it. $19/mo, broken 3.5 weeks. You can only cancel in console (billing is yours). Do that and stop the bleed.
- **Mem0** — drop, redundant.
That's it. One paid online visual (Zep), one free working backend (Hindsight), one knowledge base (Master Brain). No more 8-store fan-out.
**And the thing that actually matters: making recall WORK so you can SEE your data come back.** I already proved Zep search returns your real content (the episode search hit your Clief-templates note). Let me finish the recall hook and verify it returns your facts live, so memory stops being a black box.
Two lanes, both quick:
- **You:** cancel Supermemory Pro in the console ($19/mo, dead).
- **Me:** finish the Zep recall hook, drop Mem0, mute the dead Supermemory hooks, then show you recall returning real results.
Want me to go on my lane now?

With Zep Cloud, **you need ZERO Neo4j.** That's the whole point of going managed — there's no database for you to run, host, or pay for. Not Neo4j, not Neon, nothing.
Here's what happens to each graph DB in your world:
| Graph DB | What it is | With Zep Cloud |
|---|---|---|
| **Zep's internal store** | Zep runs Graphiti (on their own Neo4j/FalkorDB) behind the API | **They manage it. You never touch it.** Included in $125. |
| **Hetzner `graphiti-neo4j` Docker** | Your self-hosted Graphiti's empty Neo4j | **Now redundant.** You decided Zep cloud only, so this isn't needed. Stop the container (don't delete, per your rule) to free RAM. |
| **Master Brain Neo4j (294K nodes)** | Your knowledge-graph source of truth | **Keep, untouched.** Totally separate from Zep — different job. |
So the answer to "what Neo4j" = **none for Zep.** You send episodes to Zep's API with your `ZEP_API_KEY`, they store and extract on their side, you query back. No DB, no Docker, no Neo4j admin, no Neon. Zero-ops is exactly why it's worth $125.
Net effect of going Zep cloud only:
- **New:** Zep Flex $125/mo. No one-time extraction cost (Zep's engine does it).
- **Can shut down:** the Hetzner Graphiti Docker + its Neo4j (frees ~4GB+ RAM, no longer needed).
- **Keep as-is:** Master Brain (Neo4j + Supabase), Hindsight, MEMORY.md, Honcho.
Want me to write the updated handoff/decision reflecting "Zep Cloud only, retire self-hosted Graphiti" and lay out the exact signup + load steps?

[ASSISTANT]
For the extraction engine: **GPT-5.5.** Here's the honest reasoning, not a coin flip.
**This is an extraction task, not a thinking task.** Graphiti reads each note and pulls entities + relationships into a fixed schema. That rewards structured-output reliability and integration fit, not raw frontier reasoning. On that job:
- **GPT-5.5** — Graphiti is built OpenAI-first. Cleanest structured-output path, fewest parsing failures, best-tested. Set `MODEL_NAME` and go.
- **Opus 4.8** — works via Graphiti's Anthropic client, but adds friction on structured output and costs more per token, for **zero meaningful quality gain on extraction.** Opus 4.8 is the better brain, but extraction doesn't use the brain — it uses the schema discipline. Wrong tool for this specific job, not because it's weak.
The quality delta between them on entity extraction is basically noise. The integration + cost delta favors 5.5. So 5.5 for the grunt work.
**Where Opus 4.8 SHOULD be used** (matches your own doctrine — Opus orchestrates + reviews, GPT does heavy mechanical lifting):
- Designing the entity/edge schema (what gets extracted)
- The review/QA pass on the loaded graph (spot bad entities, missed relationships)
So: **5.5 extracts, Opus 4.8 designs the schema + reviews the result.**
One reminder though — **this model pick only matters if you load the self-hosted Graphiti mirror.** If you go Zep Cloud only, Zep runs its own extraction engine on their side and you don't pick a model at all (it's in the $125).
So the real fork is still: **Zep cloud only** (no model choice, $0 one-time) **vs. also self-host Graphiti** (5.5 extraction, ~$25-50 one-time). Which way?

Nav's built. One honest snag on the proof.
## DELIVERED: Locations dropdown + geo hub pages
**Branch:** `feat/locations-nav` (commit `41ff000`) — not on master, your call to merge.
**What shipped:**
- **Locations is now the first nav item.** Dropdown: "Tinton Falls, NJ" (gold dot, active) + "Charlotte, NC" (Coming Soon pill). Full a11y (aria-haspopup/expanded, role=menu, Escape closes, keyboard nav, gold focus ring), and it's in the mobile menu too.
- **`/new-jersey/tinton-falls/`** — real location hub: black hero, "Monmouth County" gold eyebrow, NAP card (44 Apple St STE 3 + (888) 464-2144), program list (PHP/IOP/Detox Concierge linked), area-coverage pills, insurance/Verify CTA.
- **`/north-carolina/charlotte/`** — clean "Expanding Soon" page (placeholder until the Nova build).
- All new layout as named CSS classes, zero blue, zero em dashes, build clean (113 pages, 0 errors).
**Preview URL (this will open for YOU — you're logged into Vercel):**
- https://arch-tinton-vercel-6nzed78pe-mmerlino23s-projects.vercel.app/new-jersey/tinton-falls/
- https://arch-tinton-vercel-6nzed78pe-mmerlino23s-projects.vercel.app/north-carolina/charlotte/
## The honest catch on proof
Verification is **BUILD level, not VISUAL.** Frankie couldn't capture an independent screenshot because Vercel put the preview behind its **SSO auth wall** — Steel can't get past Vercel login. You *can* see it (your own Vercel session), but I can't hand you a screenshot as proof, and Queen can't QA it either, until that wall is down.
Two ways to fix the proof gap, your pick:
1. **Turn off preview protection** (Vercel project → Settings → Deployment Protection → disable Vercel Authentication for previews). Then the preview is public, I screenshot it, Queen QAs it. Cleanest, reversible.
2. **Just merge to master** → public production deploy → screenshot the real site. Faster, but it's live before you've eyeballed it.
Meanwhile, **Raven is harvesting Nova Transformations in the background** (de-branded content + facility images → `_source/nova-charlotte/`) so the Charlotte build is ready to go right after you sign off on the nav.
Open the Tinton Falls preview link, tell me if the dropdown + hub look right, and which proof route you want (1 or 2).

5.5 or opes 4.8
[ASSISTANT]
Two straight answers.
## 1. Is $125 (50,000 credits/mo) enough for all you do?
**Yes — IF Zep holds your curated temporal graph, not raw dumps.** Here's the actual math so you can check me:
- 50,000 credits = **~17.5 MB of NEW text ingested per month** (1 credit per 350 bytes).
- Your whole corpus to load = 828 KB = **~2,400 credits, one-time.** A rounding error.
- Retrieval/queries are **unlimited and free** on Flex. Credits only burn on writes.
- Overage is $25 per 10k if you ever spike, and auto-topup covers it. So no hard wall.
**Am I sure?** Yes, with one condition: you do NOT pipe raw chat transcripts (your 22K sessions) into Zep. That WOULD blow past 50k. But you shouldn't — raw history lives in **Hindsight (free, self-hosted, already holds 35K facts).** Zep = the curated "what changed when" graph. Keep that split and 17.5 MB/mo is way more headroom than you'll touch. If you tried to dump everything raw into the paid graph, no tier is smart — that's an architecture mistake, not a budget one.
## 2. The model — and your Codex $200 plan
This is the important part, and I'll be honest because it changes your expectation:
**Your $200 ChatGPT/Codex plan CANNOT be the extraction engine.** A subscription is not an API. Codex 5.5 on the $200 plan is for you + me reasoning interactively in the CLI. An automated library (Graphiti) firing 292+ extraction calls needs an **API key billed per token** — OpenAI keeps subscription and API completely separate. No way around it. That's an OpenAI rule, not my preference.
So here's how "use 5.5, not a weak model" actually maps:
- **Zep Cloud:** Zep runs its OWN extraction engine on their servers — that's literally what the $125 credits buy. You don't supply a model at all. It's a strong graph engine (the Graphiti creators), not a weak one. So for the cloud copy, "use 5.5" doesn't apply — their engine does it, included.
- **Self-hosted Graphiti (the local copy):** this one needs an API model. We CAN set it to **GPT-5.5 via API** for best-in-class extraction (not a weak model) — but that's pay-per-token API, separate from your $200 plan. Or gpt-4o for ~half the cost, still strong.
- **Codex 5.5 ($200 plan):** use it for the PLANNING/breakdown — architecture, schema design, deciding what gets extracted. That's exactly what it's good at and it's already paid for. Just not the automated ingest loop.
**My recommendation:**
- Cloud copy = **Zep Flex $125/mo**, their engine extracts (included, strong).
- Local copy = optional. If you want it, run Graphiti with **gpt-5.5 API** one-time (~$25-50 for the corpus on 5.5, vs ~$10-25 on gpt-4o). Not your subscription.
- Planning/reasoning = **Codex 5.5 on your $200 plan** (free to you, already have it).
So total ongoing: **$125/mo.** One-time: **$0 if you only use Zep cloud** (their engine), or ~$25-50 extra if you also load a self-hosted GPT-5.5 Graphiti mirror.
Honest question back, because it decides the one-time cost: do you actually need the **self-hosted local Graphiti copy too**, or is the **Zep managed cloud graph enough** on its own? If Zep cloud is enough, you pay $125/mo and **zero** one-time extraction — Zep does it all on their side.

[ASSISTANT]
Bottom line, decisive:
## What you sign up for (new money)
**One thing: Zep Cloud Flex — $125/mo.** That's the only new signup. It's the managed temporal-graph (Graphiti) cloud copy.
- Plus a **one-time ~$10-25** OpenAI charge (your existing key, not a signup) for gpt-4o to extract the corpus.
**Total: $125/mo + ~$15 one-time. Nothing else.**
## What you already have — keep, $0 new
| Layer | Where | Cost |
|---|---|---|
| Master Brain | Supabase + Neo4j (existing) | unchanged, what you already pay |
| Hindsight | self-hosted Hetzner | $0/mo |
| Graphiti (local) | self-hosted Hetzner | $0/mo |
| MEMORY.md + agent-memory.py | local/DIY | $0 |
| **Honcho** | free cloud | **$0 — keep it on** |
## Honcho — keep it, don't remove
It's **free, cloud, zero-ops, and actively working right now.** Look at the top of your own messages this session: `[Honcho Memory for mike]` is injecting your profile + conclusions into every prompt. It costs nothing and it's helping. The decision doc "dropped" it only as a thing to *build the stack around* — but there's zero reason to rip out a free layer that's quietly feeding good context. **Leave it on.** Just don't treat it as your durable store (that's Master Brain + Hindsight).
## Supermemory + Mem0 — yes, turn off
Both are dropped, neither earns its keep:
- **Supermemory** — turn off the integration (the `claude-supermemory` plugin/hooks). It was injecting that `<supermemory-context>` block at session start. Off.
- **Mem0** — `mem0ai` 1.0.9 is installed locally; stop wiring it as a memory backend. Off.
Per your no-delete rule I won't wipe the data — "turn off" = unhook them from the agent memory path, data left intact.
**Want me to do the turn-off now?** I can disable the Supermemory + Mem0 hooks/config so they stop firing, and leave their stored data untouched. Say go and I'll do it, then we move to the Zep Flex signup + corpus load.

- New runner `src/lib/runners/seo-citations.ts`, registered in `src/lib/modules.ts`, new tab `/client/[slug]/citations`, nav entry in `ClientAppShell.tsx`.
- Self-derives **category, location, keywords, competitors** from the real homepage (Firecrawl + one OpenAI extraction).
- Runs all **10 ARENA archetype prompts** against a real web-grounded model (OpenAI `gpt-4o-search-preview`), in parallel.
- Detects **actual citation**: brand domain present in the model's citation annotations (hard "cited as source") vs. name-only mention.
- Deterministic frequency score + LLM synthesis for accuracy, competitive position, 3 gaps, and recommendations.
### Proven on CGH (real, honest data)
- Citation Frequency **1/10 ("Minimal")** — only the Comparison prompt surfaced the brand.
- Real Denver competitors detected: **Zaner Harden 2/10, Sawaya 1/10, Bachus & Schanker 0/10**.
- 3 gap opportunities (Best-for, Exemplar, Comparison) + quick-wins/content/authority recommendations.
- Light theme, Magister gold, zero blue, no em dashes.
Note: results vary run-to-run (the search model is non-deterministic) — that's expected for a live citation test; the "Re-run test" button re-fires it. Prod has `AUDIT_SEARCH_MODEL` + `AUDIT_LLM_MODEL` runtime env set.
**Next per plan:** module #3 = `seo-page` (on-page / E-E-A-T), same pattern.

Saved to `D:/Ecosystem/Memory/memory-stack-build/pieces-memory-pricing-prompt.md`. Paste this into Pieces Copilot:
---
ROLE: You are my memory-systems analyst. Use ONLY my Pieces Long-Term Memory, workstream activity, captured snippets, browser history, and conversation history. Do NOT use general knowledge or invent anything. If you lack evidence for a claim, say "no record found." Cite ISO 8601 dates and the source for every point. Separate FACT (you have a record) from INFERENCE (you're guessing) and label inferences.
GOAL: Give me a complete, granular brief of everything I have researched, tested, decided, and concluded about my AGENT MEMORY STACK, organized around the FREE vs PAID question for every tool, plus a full recap of my most RECENT memory work. This is to finalize which memory layers I pay for vs self-host vs drop.
COVER EVERY MEMORY TOOL I have touched, and for EACH give: free tier limits, paid tier(s) + exact prices/credit models I recorded, what I actually used, my verdict (keep / drop / self-host / paid-cloud), and why:
- Hindsight (self-hosted Hetzner :8888) — cost to run, OpenAI extraction cost, leak/crash issues
- Graphiti (self-hosted Hetzner, Neo4j 5.26) — self-host cost vs managed options
- Zep / Zep Cloud — free tier (credits, rate limit) vs paid tiers (Flex, Flex Plus, Enterprise), exact $ and credit-per-byte model, the 429 rate-limit failures on free
- Master Brain (Supabase pgvector + Neo4j) — plan tier / cost
- MEMORY.md + agent-memory.py — $0 DIY
- Neo4j self-host vs Neo4j AuraDB (free 200k auto-delete vs Aura Pro pricing)
- FalkorDB (free 100MB vs Startup tier price)
- Mem0, Honcho, Pieces-as-memory, gbrain, Supermemory, Cognee, Letta, MemPalace, Memvid — tier + my verdict
- ChromaDB, qmd, Obsidian vaults
THEN produce these sections:
1. FREE vs PAID LEDGER — table: Tool | Free tier limits | Paid tier(s) + exact price | Credit/usage model | My verdict (keep/drop/self-host/pay) | Date last researched.
2. COST LEDGER — every price, credit model, token/embedding cost, "$X one-time for N records," and monthly figure I recorded, with date and source.
3. DECISIONS & RATIONALE — every memory decision and why: the 4-layer keeper stack, what got dropped, what was banned, "DIY markdown wins," one-brain-project rule. Quote decision text if I have it. Flag any place my records contradict each other (e.g. drop-Zep vs use-Zep) with the conflicting dates.
4. RECENT WORK TIMELINE (last ~2 weeks, newest first) — every memory event: corpus counts (files/words/tokens), ingest runs, model choices (gpt-4o-mini / gpt-4.1-mini / gpt-4o), rate-limit problems, the Zep Cloud Flex $125 pricing decision, the Pieces history-audit export, handoff files written.
5. CURRENT LIVE STATE — Layer | Where it runs | Populated? (fact/node/vector counts) | Endpoint/port | Model | Cost/mo.
6. OPEN ITEMS — decisions still pending, half-finished ingests, things I said I'd do but didn't.
RULES: Exhaustive over concise — granular inventory, not a recap. Quote real file paths, numbers, endpoints, dates. End with the single clearest recommendation my own records support for: (a) which ONE managed cloud memory I should pay for, (b) what I should keep self-hosted, (c) what I should stop paying for or drop.
---
Difference from your last Pieces prompt: this one is built around the free-vs-paid pricing ledger and forces a recent-work timeline (incl. the Zep Flex $125 decision). Run it, and whatever Pieces returns, paste it back here — I'll reconcile it against your decision doc before we execute the Zep load.

run init to write PRODUCT.md + DESIGN.md from the existing build.
- The P2 touch-target fix is global chrome, not specific to the NC pages, so it would touch shared footer/header components across all 119 routes.
Want me to run $impeccable adapt on it, or keep it scoped and leave global chrome alone for now? last part I dont understand $impeccable adapt — raise footer/breadcrumb nav targets to ≥24px (global chrome, one fix covers the whole site).
[ASSISTANT]
Done. `init` complete.
## Init written
| File | What it captures |
|---|---|
| **`PRODUCT.md`** | Register = **brand**. Who/what/why: dual-location outpatient addiction provider, the two audiences (people in crisis + families), the YMYL purpose, brand personality (trustworthy/grounded/exact), your anti-references (blue, dark-default, stock photos, em dashes, vendor chrome, overclaiming scope), and 5 strategic principles. |
| **`DESIGN.md`** | How it looks: Stitch-format frontmatter with your real hex tokens (#0d0d0d / #cbaa6b / #ffffff), Jost type scale, button/chip/card/nav specs, the `--shadow-*` vocabulary, and the signature reveal pattern. Six sections, forceful Do's/Don'ts that carry your rules through. |
**The 5 principles now guiding future Impeccable runs:** honest scope is the brand, expert confidence over persuasion theater, locked geo silos, YMYL discipline, data-driven not hand-tuned.
**Deliberately skipped:** the `.impeccable/live/config.json` + design.json sidecar. Those exist only to power `$impeccable live`, which injects into a local dev server in a browser. That collides with your no-local-Playwright / remote-default rules, so writing them would be dead weight (and risk a malformed config). Live mode self-configures on first run if you ever want it.
Both files: 0 em dashes, frontmatter valid.
## Your open decision
You still owe me one yes/no from the audit, now that "global chrome" is clear:
**The P2 touch-target fix** (footer + breadcrumb links under 24px tall). It's a one-edit-fixes-all-119-pages change to the shared `Footer.tsx` / breadcrumb component. Two options:
- **Run `$impeccable adapt` on it** now: I bump the vertical padding sitewide, rebuild, redeploy, re-verify. ~10 min, lifts every page to WCAG 2.5.8 AA.
- **Leave it scoped:** keep this session limited to the NC work, don't touch shared chrome. The audit note stays on record for later.
Which way?

# Backup & Classify EVERYTHING (chats + all memory stores)
One command snapshots Claude+Codex chats AND all 10 memory stores (Pieces, Gemini, Hindsight, Honcho, Memz, Mem0, Supermemory, Chroma, qmd) into per-source Obsidian vaults.
## Run It
```bash
python "D:/Ecosystem/Memory/backup-system/unified-backup.py"
```
This runs:
1. **Existing chat pipeline** — Claude `.claude/projects/` + Codex `.codex/sessions/` + Pieces HTTP + provenance activity.db → `chat-backups` vault
2. **10 snapshotters in sequence** — each writes to its own vault under `D:\Ecosystem\vaults\<source>-snapshots\`:
- `pieces_couchbase` — on-disk Pieces conversations + activities the HTTP API hides
- `pieces_agentic` — Pieces tool-call traces per session
- `gemini` — Antigravity conversations + workspace shadow-git
- `hindsight` — all 110 memory banks at mac:8888
- `honcho` — cloud conclusions (155K+)
- `memz` — Master Brain + dedicated Memz Supabase (147K+ rows)
- `mem0` — api.mem0.ai
- `supermemory` — Supermemory docs
- `chroma` — Chroma Cloud collection
- `qmd` — tobi/qmd index state (74,839 docs, 12 collections)
3. **Scheduled task `MerlinoUnifiedBackup`** — runs this hourly on Windows
## Just chats (legacy)
If you ONLY want chat backup without the memory store snapshots:
```bash
python "D:/Ecosystem/Memory/backup-system/backup-pipeline.py"
```
## Options (unified-backup.py)
```bash
python unified-backup.py # Everything (existing pipeline + all 10 snapshotters)
python unified-backup.py --test # Connectivity check only, no writes
python unified-backup.py --dry-run # Preview what would happen
python unified-backup.py --only hindsight # Run just one source
python unified-backup.py --no-honcho # Skip a source (slow ones: honcho, memz)
python unified-backup.py --no-pipeline # Skip existing pipeline, just snapshotters
```
## Options (backup-pipeline.py legacy, chats only)
```bash
python backup-pipeline.py # Full chat run (Phase 1 + Rust Phase 2)
python backup-pipeline.py --dry-run # Preview without writing
python backup-pipeline.py --verbose # Show per-chat classification decisions
python backup-pipeline.py --classify-only # Skip Phase 1 copy, run Python classify only
python backup-pipeline.py --rag # Also push to RAG pipeline (stub)
python backup-pipeline.py --supabase # Also push to Supabase vector (stub)
```
## Rust Sorter (standalone)
```bash
"D:/ClaudeDev/00_GITHUB/_working-on/Tools/agent-soul-system/scripts/chat-router/target/release/chat-sorter.exe" [OPTIONS]
--input <DIR> Input dir (default: D:/Ecosystem/vaults/chat-backups/By Date)
--output <DIR> Output dir (default: D:/Ecosystem/vaults/chat-backups/Project Chats)
--no-llm Skip Tier 4 LLM classification
--dry-run Preview only
--verbose Per-chat decisions
--stats-only Stats without writing
```
Build: `cd D:/ClaudeDev/00_GITHUB/_working-on/Tools/agent-soul-system/scripts/chat-router && cargo build --release`
## 3-Tier Classification
| Tier | Signal | How |
|------|--------|-----|
| 1 | Folder name | Parent folder in `By Date/YYYY-MM-DD/{Name}/` (skips Home-General) |
| 2 | CWD path | Regex on `cwd` field from matching .jsonl (first 20 lines) |
| 3 | Keyword scoring | Weighted keywords on first 50KB of .md content (min score: 2) |
Anything that matches no tier lands in `Project Chats/_Unclassified/` (small, ~0.6% of archive). Post-classification consolidation merges junk categories into canonical parents.
NOTE: the current `backup-pipeline.py` is 3-tier. There is no LLM fallback tier in the running code (the old Tier-4 Anthropic step and its `Codeland2026` key path are retired). Snapshotter API keys load from `D:\Ecosystem\secrets\MASTER_API_KEYS.env` via `snapshotter

# /resume — Pick Up Where We Left Off
When invoked, restore full project context from a previous `/pause` and continue work.
## Process
### 1. Find Handoff File
Check these locations in order:
1. `.planning/.continue-here.md` (current directory)
2. `.continue-here.md` (project root)
3. `HANDOFF.json` (legacy format)
If none found, say so and ask Mike what we're working on.
### 2. Load Context
Read the handoff file completely. Also read:
- `CLAUDE.md` (project instructions)
- `.planning/STATE.md` (if exists)
- Project memory files (MEMORY.md in the project memory directory)
### 3. Check Current State
```bash
# What's changed since pause?
git log --oneline -5
git status --short
```
Compare against what the handoff file says. Flag any divergence (someone else may have worked on this).
### 4. Check Running Processes
If the handoff mentions dev servers or tunnels, verify they're still running:
```bash
# Check if ports are still active
curl -s -o /dev/null -w "%{http_code}" http://localhost:{port} 2>/dev/null || echo "not running"
```
### 5. Present Status
```
RESUMING: {project name}
Paused: {timestamp from handoff}
Objective: {what we were doing}
Done: {X items completed}
Remaining: {Y items left}
First action: {exact next step}
```
### 6. Start Working
Don't ask "should I continue?" — just pick up the first action from the "Resume With" section and do it. Mike said resume, so resume.
## Rules
- Read the FULL handoff file before doing anything
- Don't re-do completed work — trust the handoff
- If the handoff mentions blockers that needed Mike's input, ask about those first
- If processes died (dev servers, tunnels), restart them before continuing work
- Delete the handoff file after successfully resuming (it's a one-shot artifact)
- If agents were mid-task when paused, re-dispatch them
